The Jeffrey A. Meston Fire Museum is currently located at 95 Rowland Way, Novato.
The museum is open to the public during Fire Prevention month and by appointment. The museum recalls the history of the Novato Fire Protection District and contains numerous displays of historical firefighting memorabilia.
The Novato Fire Foundation has a big project planned for this summer.
We are moving the Jeffrey A. Meston Fire Museum from the garage of our administrative building to the Big House (Station 61) where it will occupy the beautiful two story glass lobby and the adjoining office upstairs.
The Museum pays tribute to the nearly 100 years of service the fire district has provided our community and contains hundreds of pictures, memorabilia, and artifacts which help tell our story.
