Novato Fire District will share some of our favorite recipes, and let you decide. We'll begin with a Novato firehouse classic: Taco Mac.

Shanny’s Taco Mac
1 lb ground meat
1 package taco seasoning
1 box Thick and Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
½ to 1 cup of Salsa
½ to 1 cup of Whole Kernel Corn
- Brown ground meat in a skillet and drain.
- Return ground meat to skillet add taco seasoning and follow packet directions.
- In a pot bring water to a boil and add just the macaroni and cook until done.
- Drain macaroni return to pot, add taco meat, packet of cheese from Macaroni and Cheese, Salsa, and Corn. Mix until hot and serve. Makes 4 servings.
