The Novato Fire District provides classes in CPR on a regular basis. In this class students learn how to recognize the signs of a cardiac emergency, and how to sustain life with Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation until emergency medical help can arrive. This is a skill anyone in the community can learn.

The course is intended for a lay rescuer. This class is not suitable for those needing Professional Rescuer or Health Professional CPR.

Instruction includes Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Automatic External Defibrillation familiarization, and choking care for adults, children and infants.

The certificate is valid for 2 years.

To view a schedule of classes, please visit our Calendar. You must pre-register for a class and pick up class materials prior to the class date at our Administrative Offices at 95 Rowland Way, Novato.

Please note, classes fill up early, so plan ahead to make sure you are IN the class!

Class Fee: $15.00

Classes may be cancelled and/or rescheduled if class size is less than 10 students.
