The District has 5 Fire Stations and 1 Administrative building.

Station 62 is staffed by:

  • A 3-person Engine Company (Engine 62).
  • Its primary response zone is east of Highway 101 and north of Highway 37; personnel often respond to freeway vehicle accidents, as well as numerous fire and medical calls.
  • The Engine 62 crew also cross-staffs a reserve Advance Life Support ambulance (Medic 62) that will be called into service to respond to emergency incidents in the event that both Medic 61 and Medic 65 are dedicated to other calls for service.
  • Home to our primary drill grounds.
    • The drill grounds consist of a 4-story training tower, complete with the latest-engineered propane burn props, 2 high-end classrooms used for internal trainings as well as hosting a wide variety of state approved courses open to all for career development in the fire service.
    • Also located on the grounds, is our Mechanics Shop which is staffed by a full-time fire apparatus mechanic who provides maintenance and repair to over 16 fire apparatus and over 15 staff vehicles.

62 is also home to our Apparatus Maintenance Division

The maintenance division is responsible for the fleet maintenance and repairs for District apparatus and equipment.  One full-time mechanic, certified in diesel engine and fire pump repair ensures our emergency response fleet is ready to respond to any emergency.
