The Board of Directors annually sets the fire tax rate prior to adopting a final budget. The 2019/20 tax rates are 9.51 cents per square foot for residential properties and 14.26 cents per square foot for commercial/industrial properties. Please see Property Tax FAQs for more details.

The District has received a clean opinion from the independent auditor on the District’s 2018/19 audited financial statements. A copy of the complete audited financial statements is included in the 2019 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report .

The District has also received an award for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2018 by the Government Finance Officers Association. This recognition is for CAFRs that achieve the highest standards in government accounting and financial reporting. The District’s CAFR for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019 is available (see link above or below).
